Hello my name is Emma Green Professionally, I am a content writer and it has been a decade that I am writing for the textile world. Currently, I have been working with Fabriclore for 3 years. During my tenure the in textile industry I have come across various kinds of fabrics and trims such as cotton, silk, viscose, rayon, velvet, buttons, laces and many more. Beside writing, I individually like to experiment with various outfits through various fabrics and thus I like customised outfits more than fast fashion. Apart from the fabrics, I also like trims and laces to experiment with dresses.

Handwoven Fabric
Handwoven fabrics are made by using handlooms, that is, they do not need any electricity and hence do not cause any pollution. Fabrics that are hand-woven consist of a few irregularities that can’t be seen in machine-woven fabrics.

How Viscose Fabric is manufactured

The Cleaning Process
Chips of the plant are mixed with chemicals like sodium hydroxide to create a dark wood pulp solution.

The Making of Fiber
After being treated with carbon disulfide, the pulp is dissolved in sodium hydroxide to produce the "viscose" solution which is used to spin the fibers.

The Spinning Process
Regenerated cellulose filaments are produced by forcing a viscous solution through a spinneret.

The Final Result
Weaving or knitting with this regenerated cellulose yarn results in a viscose rayon fabric
