With Shop Jordans 2022,On Jordan Brand‘s impressive roster of collaborators, there’s arguably no one more valuable than Travis Scott. In 2021, the Houston-born rapper and the Jumpman team cooked up striking Air Jordan 1s with the likes of streetwear icon Hiroshi Fujiwara and his fragment design imprint, but it looks as though we can expect the artist to roll out even more styles in 2022.This isn’t necessarily a surprise as the shoes were spotted on the feet of the ASTROWORLD artist’s daughter Stormi in September, but now it appears that the kicks have the green light to be sent into production. As you can infer from its namesake, the shoes stick to the neutral tones that are present on Scott’s first Air Jordan 1 High OG collab, but utilized in flipped fashion.
The white and brown “Reverse Mocha” colorway of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low will be one of the two releasing in 2022. This pair was first seen on the feet of Travis Scott’s daughter Stormi earlier this year. This colorway is a twist on the first Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low, the “Dark Mocha,” with a reverse color blocking and white on paneling instead of black.“Mocha” sees its way to the toe boxes, tongues, liners and quarter panels, while the overlays are done up with angelic finishes and Scott’s signature reverse Swooshes are dressed with a creamy complexion. An oversized backward facing Swoosh featured on the lateral, while a regular Swoosh graces the medial. Signature Travis Scott details will include the “Cactus Jack” logo appearing on the tongue, medial side panel and sockliner. The back heel tabs will be branded with Air Jordan Wings on the right and Scott’s crudely drawn face on the left shoe.
These Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low OG combine the best of the three involved in a historical silhouette. Its combination of white with overlapping layers in royal blue and black give that sophistication that a union like this demands.A white leather base dresses these incredible new kicks, with overlaying black leather panels gracing the toes, heels and lace panel. The inverted, cream-white Swoosh takes away much of the attention on this silhouette, delivering a totally unique look! Similarly, we have the matching cream midsoles and laces that contrast the sneaks further.
