Writing an Essay for DELF B2

The essay is the second part of the language tests in the BCE or Ecricome competitive entrance exams for HEC students. It is also a sub-test in the scientific preparatory exams or those for the khâgnes. In this article, we are going to talk to you more specifically about the methodology of the English essay in the HEC preparatory program (LV1 in the BCE exams): you will just have to adapt the advice according to your field and language (Spanish, German, Italian...). The method does not change otherwise.

The Second Essay is a personal expression. You must give online essay service opinion on the question asked, which is usually an important topical issue of the year. It is essential that you get your feet wet on this essay, and have an opinion... a little personal. Put yourself in the graders' shoes, all versions and topics are similar, as are all essays. Essay 2 is the only one that gives you some leeway to differentiate yourself, so make good use of it!

After seeing an example of a letter, I suggest you look at how to write an essay for the DELF B2. This article is an excerpt from my Delf B2 writing guide.

What is an essay?
An essay is a type of argumentative text where you have to express your personal opinion. It is an academic text that does not have a specific addressee (unlike a letter for example). It must include an introduction, a development in 2 or 3 parts and a conclusion.

You will express your personal opinion in a well-constructed essay of about 250 words.
