A few days ago, a video circulated on social media. It showed a man plunging from a balcony. The claim was that a Nigerian man committed suicide inside Heathrow Airport. He did this instead of being deported back to Nigeria. Several users spread the misinformation, including @Frankekechukwu, @Techsavvy05, @four_unit and @mwaipungu24. However, this claim is false.

The Truth Behind the Video

This is an old video from the USA. In 2018, an intoxicated man jumped off a second-floor walkway at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. He did this after arguing with two men. It has nothing to do with Heathrow Airport and Deportation.

The video shows the man falling from the walkway and landing on the ground below. It is unclear what happened to the man after he fell. However, it is clear that the incident took place in Atlanta, not at Heathrow Airport.

While doing research, we found that Fox News uploaded the actual story on YouTube.
